Получившая в последнее время известность компания Warrior оказалась в хоккее после того, как ведущий американский производитель экипировки для лакросса Warrior Lacrosse в 2005 году приобрел калифорнийского производителя клюшек Innovative Hockey.
Последний, кстати сказать, некоторое время сотрудничал с единственным российским предприятием по производству хоккейной экипировки, ЭФСИ. Клюшки Warrior довольно быстро завоевали определенную популярность в НХЛ.
В частности, лицом компании стал известный российский форвард Алексей Ковалев. В настоящее время до 150-ти игроков НХЛ используют клюшки Warrior. На данный момент (2012 год) в НХЛ с Warrior в руках воюют: Илья Ковальчук, Артем Анисимов, Брайн Джионта, Томас Холмстрем, Джимми Ховард, Анжи Копитар, Никлас Лидстрем, Крис Пронгер, Хенрик Зеттерберг.
